Remove formatting in Word from any pasted text

For example, if you copy the text from this page into a Word file, that text will remain clear and this text would remain blue . To remove formatting from any text in Microsoft Word, select the text and press the keyboard shortcut ctrl + spacebar . The shortcut sets the text to the default font, removes formatting, and even removes links. Alternatively, you can use the Paste Special or Keep Text Only option. Option in Microsoft Word to paste the text without formatting. Bonus tip In most versions of Windows ctrl + Windows key + v also inserts text as plain text.
