How to Change the Default Save Location in Windows 11

Windows 11 assigns default locations to files you download or new files you create on the system. Usually, the default save locations are on your local drive, typically saved as C: drive. However, you may be running out of local disk space, forcing you to save files to another drive.

How to change the default save location in Windows 11

To change the default save location in Windows 11, do the following:

  1. press the beginning button and then click ideas. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Windows key + I to open ideas direct.
