Apple is set to unveil a range of new products at a special (virtual) event on Monday, October 18, 2021.

This event, titled Unleashed, will be streamed live on Apple's website as well as YouTube, which we've embedded above so you can watch it right here.

We can't say exactly what Apple will be unveiling at the event, but there were plenty of clues. It seems certain that Apple will launch a new MacBook Pro with M1X chips - including a 14-inch model. We're also expecting new AirPods, which were surprisingly absent from September's iPhone launch event. We are expected to get dates for the release of the new operating system macOS Monterey.

How to watch the Apple event live

You have several options. You can watch on Apple's YouTube channel, which we've embedded at the top of this page, when it's live. Or you can watch on Apple's own website.

(In the past, Apple also streamed the event live on Twitter. Instead, it doesn't appear to be repeating this experiment directing followers on apple.com, but there may well be Twitter posts during the event.)

Apple's special events page has all the information you need, including the option to add them to your calendar.

How to watch the Apple event on a Mac

Just go to the Apple Events page to watch. (Or use the YouTube videos embedded above.)

After the keynote ends, it will also be available to watch on the Apple Podcast app here and on the Apple TV app.

You can also watch last year's keynotes in Apple's Podcasts app, available in macOS Catalina.

How to watch the Apple event on iPad or iPhone

Apple says its Keynote videos are best experienced on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running Safari on iOS 10 or later, but acknowledged that videos can also be played on iOS 9.

To watch, either go to the Apple Events page or open the TV app and watch the stream there.

How to watch the Apple event on Apple TV

Apple TV users can watch the keynote as long as they have an Apple TV that supports the App Store and includes the TV app. (That means any 2nd generation or later Apple TV running the latest version of tvOS or the Apple TV software.)

You can watch the keynote through the TV app.

Previously, Apple hosted keynotes in a dedicated Events app on the Apple TV, but this year that app has become obsolete and instead the keynote will appear as an option on the TV app.

How to watch the Apple event on a PC

PC owners need Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 to view Apple's website. Or they can watch via YouTube as above.

How can you watch anything else...

According to Apple, other platforms may be able to access the stream with newer versions of Chrome or Firefox (requires MSE, H.264 and AAC).

Visit the Apple Events page to watch.
