Best Thin Case for Pixel 6 Pro: Spigen Liquid Air Armor
advantages:
- Thin and light
- Inexpensive
- Structured surface
Disadvantages:
- Only one color option
- Not the absolute thinnest
Don’t want to burden your Pixel 6 Pro with a bulky case? Then the thin and light Liquid Air Armor from Spigen is perfect for you. It’s not quite as thin as the Spigen Thin Fit, but offers superior protection and a textured finish to improve your grip. It only comes in one color: matte black.
Looking for thinner Pixel 6 Pro case options? We also recommend:
Fallology parallax

If the matte black isn’t for you, this Caseology case is available in attractive sage green, gold, and ash gray colors. The textured back not only looks great, it also helps to provide some support and prevent slipping.
Feitenn silicone case
If you want something a little simpler but still with a touch of colour, you can’t go wrong with this Feitenn Pixel 6 Pro case. It doesn’t protect against serious falls, but it does prevent minor scratches and bumps.
Sturdy Spigen armor
Spigen does it again with an excellent sturdy body that wraps discreetly around the camera bump. Color options are again limited, but the design itself is simple and attractive.
Best Rugged Pixel 6 Pro Case: Poetic Revolution Case
advantages:
- Exceptional protection
- Built-in screen protector
- Includes stand
Disadvantages:
- Very bulky
- Inelegant
- A bit expensive
If you want maximum protection, this rugged Pixel 6 Pro case from Poetic is the best there is. It looks bulky and feels big in the hand, but with the included screen protector it’s nearly drop and scratch resistant. There’s even a stand for booting.
Looking for more rugged case options for the Google Pixel 6 Pro? We also recommend:
Spigen Tough armor
This Pixel 6 Pro case offers excellent protection and a built-in kickstand. It still suffers from Spigen’s persistent lack of color options, but the smooth back is much more pocketable than other rugged cases.
Otterbox defender

The Otterbox Defender is the number one choice for comprehensive protection. It also comes with an optional belt clip holster. The port covers protect the most sensitive parts of your phone from dust and dirt.
Supcase UB Pro

Supcase’s Unicorn Beetle Pro offers all-around rugged protection with an included faceplate that comes with an integrated screen protector. It comes in a variety of colors, each with an included stand on the back.
Best Leather Case for Pixel 6 Pro: Bellroy

advantages:
- Stylish in multiple colors
- Genuine leather
Disadvantages:
- Expensive
- A bit slippery
If you want a Pixel 6 Pro case that looks both stylish and sleek, the Bellroy case is for you. It’s made of genuine leather that looks and feels great. However, it can be a bit slippery at first, so caution is advised at the beginning. You also need to keep it clean as the oil from your fingers can damage the leather in the long run.
Best Pixel 6 Pro Wallet Case: Spigen Slim Armor CS
advantages:
- good protection
- Holds two cards
Disadvantages:
- Few color options
- Not much memory
The Pixel 6 Pro’s raised camera design lends itself perfectly to this handy wallet. It houses two credit cards in the external slot under the camera bump and offers excellent protection from bumps and drops. There are only two color options, however, and neither is particularly eye-catching.
Looking for more Pixel 6 Pro wallet case options? We also recommend:
Torro wallet made of genuine leather

The elegant and stylish genuine leather wallet from Torro comes with three card slots and one money compartment. It’s on the expensive side, however.
VRS Design Damda Glide Pro

This Pixel 6 Pro wallet case features a card holder on the back with a semi-automatic door and space for up to four cards. The case itself is also quite sturdy, so it should easily withstand drops and scratches.
This is how we test cell phone cases
We rigorously test smartphones, accessories and other products in our reviews here on Android authority, so why should Google Pixel 6 Pro cases be any different? There are many factors that we consider before recommending a phone case.
- Protection: It is important to remember that different cases offer different levels of protection. A super-thin case is great for preventing scratches and smudges, but dropping the phone on cement doesn’t help much. We consider factors such as corner protection, the raised lip around the display and rear camera, and the buttons are covered. For hybrid and rugged cases, we also simulate real-world drops to test durability where possible. For example, if the phone falls from pocket height or slips off the table.
- Handle: Grip is another critical factor. You don’t want a case that slips out of your hand, but you don’t want it to be too rubbery either. Practical testing aside, we slide the phone over various surfaces like wood and marble to see how slippery (or not) it might be. Cases with grooves or bumps on the sides or back to improve grip earn additional points.
- Building materials and quality: Poor quality polycarbonate cases are prone to cracking during installation or removal. The fit also plays a major role here. If you have to use a lot of pressure to remove a case, that’s a telltale sign that the case is about to tear. With softer TPU cases, continued removal can cause them to loosen around the edges, compromising the fit and protection you receive over time.
- Installation and removal: Installing a case shouldn’t be difficult and the phone should snap comfortably into place. However, removing a case can be difficult and potentially damage your phone. It’s a big problem when you need to apply enough force where you feel the phone almost bends.
- Design and coloring: Design and colors are personal choices, but it’s always nice to have options. Where possible we also try to include a special category for clear cases that allow you to show off the design of the phone while also keeping the phone safe.
- Value: Price doesn’t mean everything. You can always find $10 cases that offer just as much protection, if not more, than $50 cases. Keep in mind, however, that sturdy cases or additional features like a kickstand or wallet are likely to be more expensive than a standard thin case, as are high-quality materials and finishes.
