The complete list of Nvidia GeForce MX350 and MX330 portable laptops
If you are looking for a portable laptop or perhaps a budget computer with some sort of gaming prowess in 2020, you will most likely get value for money with some of the Nvidia GeForce MX350/MX330 configurations available.
These are Nvidia's current budget-level dedicated GPUs, allowing FHD gaming on low graphics settings in most titles. Each comes in two flavors, a high-efficiency implementation for ultrabooks and a more powerful version for full-size laptops.
The MX330 is the least interesting of the two, as it's pretty much a remastered version of the 2019 MX250 chip. The MX350, on the other hand, is a significantly more powerful GPU. It's still based on the Pascal architecture, but it's the GP107 chip with increased processing power over the MX330/MX250.
Here's a spec sheet of these two, right next to the MX250 and GTX 1650 MQ, the next step up upgrade available on select ultraportables.
| MX350 | MX330 | MX250 | GTX 1650MQ | |
| chip | GP107—Pascals | GP108 – Pascal | GP108 – Pascal | TU117—Turing |
| shaders | 640 | 384 | 384 | 1024 |
| TM units | 53 | 24 | 24 | 85 |
| Speed (Base / Boost) | 747-1468MHz | 937-1582MHz | 937-1582MHz | 1020-1245MHz |
| Computing power (FP32) | 1.88 TFLOPs | 1.22 TFLOPs | 1.21 TFLOPs | 2.55 TFLOPs |
| reminder | up to 2GB GDDR5 | up to 2GB GDDR5 | up to 2GB GDDR5 | up to 4GB GDDR5 |
| memory bandwidth | 56GB/sec | 48GB/s | 48GB/s | 112GB/s |
| memory speed | 7000MHz | 7000MHz | 7000MHz | 8000MHz |
| Performance - TDP | 10-25W | 10-25W | 10-25W | 35W |
Based on these, the MX350 should offer a 25-40% increase in GPU loads and gaming over a similar MX330/MX250 configuration, but this will vary widely by implementation, particularly for the thinner designs that receive limited thermal modules and cannot maximally squeeze potential from these chips. While the GTX 1650 is a significant upgrade, it's only available in a handful of premium and more expensive products.

We're not talking about benchmarks and performance in this article, instead you should follow this link for a preview of the MX350's performance in a 14-inch ultra-portable chassis, and we'll update as we have more products to review. In the meantime, be sure to also check out this link for a more recent selection of our MX350 reviews, as well as this comparison, which pits the MX350 against AMD's competing Vega 7/8 iGPUs.
Instead, this article features a full selection of every MX350 and MX330 laptop currently available. Most of these are 10W implementations, but we'll mention which are the more powerful 25W versions.
Some of these devices are available with either MX330 graphics for the lower specs or MX350 for the higher configurations. I would recommend concentrating on the more powerful MX350 models as much as possible and only delving into the MX330s if they are outside your budget. However, in this case you should also consider some of the earlier MX250 notebooks that are available in the market as MX250 and MX330 are hardly the same chips and you should find most of them on sale now that the updated generation came out and is available.
Finally, keep in mind that this list is a work in progress and some of the information is based on rumors and early leaks. So if you spot any errors or know of a product that should be included here and isn't, please let us know in the comments section at the bottom of the article.
